What you'll be doing :
Lead SEO execution across WE markets. Working with our agency partner to deliver best in class SEO execution including strategy, technical optimisation, and ensuring key avon teams are aware of SEO impacts within BAU activity.
This role will advocate for all key SEO best practices’ across Western Europe markets. Working with global and local teams to ensure excellent execution and in-line with our business objectives.
Key responsibilities :
Work with Paid Media and Search Manager WE to execute the defined SEO strategy across core WE markets.
Define the deliverables within the strategy to land technical roadmap across channels, and align with content manager to ensure execution of content strategy
Understand commercial benefits of SEO strategy and their priority within the broader eCommerce strategy
Own end to end reporting of core strategy defining key KPIs and metrics for success
Own brand / non brand delivery of SEO performance, with a view to growing non brand execution
Training and Support
Build relationship with internal trading and content team to ensure SEO best practice is a central part of their execution
Define training plan for SEO optimisation across teams
Educate content and copy teams on use of SEO tools in driving content production
Work with WE product owners and development team to ensure that all SEO requirements are understood and prioritised for development and testing of new development
Work with 3rd party agency to understand and prioritise SEO development required to drive performance
SEO point of contact on all new content creation
Reporting and Data
Monitoring and reporting on SEO performance vs target
Reporting on performance of new SEO developments vs. expectation
Weekly and Monthly reporting on SEO performance vs target
We'd love you to have :
3 years experience in a similar role
Experience of working to tight deadlines / schedules with cross-functional departments.
Evidence of an analytical background
Excellent grasp of English, both written and oral
Experience in busy office environment
Degree experience or equivalent experience in similar role
Skills & Competencies (required)
Advanced Excel & industry standard SEO tools (e.g. Google Search Console, ScreamingFrog etc.)
Understanding requirements of many different markets and being able to prioritise accordingly
Experience working within development sprints and with development teams
Experience working with analytics tools such as GA360
Understanding of basic programming skills (html)
