Globally operating investment manager is looking to onboard a motivated growth-oriented individual to develop and implement front office trade execution strategic projects at its Madrid office.

Key responsibilities include developing thoroughly tested code and processes that optimize the management and monitoring of daily trading and execution-related activity.

You will also be designing new features and tools according to specific requirements, prioritizing according to the need, benefit, and time to delivery and be working on the implementation, validation, and testing of third-party protocols and connections with the firm’s execution infrastructure.

Required skills :

  • Prior programming experience, C# preferable, but knowledge of other relevant programming languages, such as C++ and Java are also acceptable.
  • Familiarity with bash and / or Python scripts is required.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful; with the ability to contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Analytical and numerical capabilities for analyzing and reacting to events in our log files.
  • Quick grasp of new technologies
  • Thorough familiarity with either the Windows or Linux operating systems and spreadsheet applications.
  • Enthusiasm and focus on learning to manage electronic trade execution systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Undergraduate and / or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a closely related field
