Your Role & Responsibilities
Active contribution in new projects for purchased parts (APQP for purchased parts and supplier development)
Planning and assuring quality of purchased parts applying quality methods and tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, 8D)
Assessment and approval of suppliers and supplier production processes
Assess Suppliers Manufacturing Capability. VDA 6.3
Perform supplier audits according VDA and supplier assessments - define development actions (Audits, RunRate,...)
Perform process, risk and quality audits at suppliers (including development), implementation tracking and monitoring of supplier corrective action effectiveness
Problem solving tracking (8D method, Paynter chart, )
Active contribution in teams to develop supplier strategies (Team work with purchasing, project teams, plants and central functions and for VA / VE activities)
Active contribution in teams to develop quality strategies for supplied parts (team work with central functions of Business Unit)
Preparation, follow-up and wrap up of quality agreements with suppliers
Supplier visits / meetings (including domestic and international travel as required)
Approve for Quality, suppliers sourcing nomination for new projects
Manage on time APQP (Advanced Project Quality Planning) activities for project in development (PDP)
Manage on time PPAP (Production Parts Approval Process) activities for project in development (PDP)
Manage on time R R (Run at Rate) at suppliers locations
Realize on time VDA 6.3 Project or surveillance audit
Communicate within SQA organization
Your Skills & Strengths
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in industry automotive, of which at least 2 years in quality management (quality department)
Knowledge of automotive quality requirements - experience in Purchasing (certified as VDA 6.3 auditor preferred)
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IT- Tools (MS Office & SAP R3)
Technical, manufacturing and process knowledge
Competency in quality methods and tools (e.g.TS 16949,
Problem solving, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
Fluent in English (strong communication skills both verbal and written)
Leadership capability (able to lead and drive)
Commercial knowledge and negotiation abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to work and communicate efficiently in different cultures
