Lead the SW Development engineering team in order to guarantee the proper implementation of new products design and the prototypes delivery to the customer fulfilling the R&D Processes.
Define the SW Development scope of work for the project at offer phase and estimate SW Development resources for the project.
Plan the SW Development project activities and outputs to reach quality, timing and cost goals according to SW Development processes at offer phase.
Coordinate the SW Development offers with the Project Manager.
Evaluate the feasibility of achieving the goals of the SW Development project with available resources and constrains at offer phase.
Estimate and allocate SW Development resources to the projects.
Escalate resource needs and report risks / efforts to the SW Development Manager.
Coordinate and supervise SW Development engineering team workload, reallocating resources across projects when necessary according to priority and management directives.
Evaluate SW Development team knowledge, detect training needs, gather project needs and plan training accordingly, including training needs for managing customer specific requirements (CSR).
Manage employee leaves & vacations.
Request new team resources to HR and participate actively in the SW Development Job interviews.
Break down SW Development team goals from SW Development area goals and ensure its fulfillment through all organization chart top-down.
Define team goals and development plans and evaluate the performance according to applicable HR processes. Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, improvement recommendations or disciplinary action, with the assistance of HR, when necessary.
Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
Ensure execution of R&D processes and usage of standard tools.
Monitor and report the progress of the projects and resources to the SW Development Manager ensuring their appropriateness and accuracy and take actions to correct deviations.
Ensure execution of Lessons Learned Process.
Encourage the team to identify process improvements.
Support the preparation of the department budget.
Ensure SW Development department budget is not exceeded.
Encourage the team to provide improvement proposals in SW Development technologies / products.

Lead the SW Development team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering FICOSA's values.
Provide the SW Development team with the necessary means to comply with OSHE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OSHE and Quality department.

Academic Background : Bachelor’s degree in SW engineering / Computer Science or Telecommunications Languages : Fluent in local language & Fluent English (spoken & written) Experience : Minimum of 5 years in SW engineering positions
