In Melt Group we are managing a Production and Procurement Planner for our client, an important food industry,

The candidate have to create a production schedule, which drives a material plan with the objectives of balancing service level, inventory costs and an effective operational plan.

Responsabilities :

1. Stablish the delivery strategy (MTS, MTO,.) per customer and article with supply chain managers

2.- Create a production schedule and a material plan to achieve :

A good service level

An improved working capital

Using inputs of stock, forecasts and plant capabilities.

3.- Make the plant weekly & monthly rolling production master planning per production line and article consisting on :

Demand information analysis (Order status, Stocks levels, stocks in transit)

Line capacity (output, product mix,..), Line availability ( Calendars, mto major interventions,..) and flexibility analysis ( output, minimum batches, batches optimization rules,.

  • in coordination with Production and Mto
  • Freezing the production master plan for Week W and W+1 per production line and external copackers checking materials availability in coordination with the procurement functions

    Register and update the production orders status with the production control supervisors. Ax visibility of 8 weeks

    4.- Define and upgrade the materials management linked to the production planning consisting on :

    Stablish for strategic raw materials the most suitable procurement method with the purchasing function

    Stablish for each raw material and component the most suitable procurement method ( mrp and reorder point systems) and stocks dimensioning with the procurement function

    Stablish for each raw material and component the most adequate storage method with procurement and production function

    Requirements :

  • Production in Industrial Engineering or MsC in production
  • Graduate It will be an asset a background planning & Scheduling in a factory more than 5 year

    2-3 years experience working with ERP (preferably AX or Navision)

    Data management systems (sharepoint, excels, databases)

    Fluent oral and written in English and Spanish

    Self-organized and methodic to lead continuous improvement initiatives

  • Analytical and numerical skills problem solving techniques
  • Communication skills oral and written
