Establishing strong partnerships with the Sales and Marketing Leadership Team, the ability to challenge and hold key stakeholders to account will be vital.
With a team , strong leadership and coaching will be required to support the delivery of the vision to transform the Commercial Finance Team into a team of highly engaged excellent business partners.
TEAM MANAGEMENT :
Boosts people's development and promote teamwork.
Establishes & achieves personal and team objectives aligned with the strategy and objectives of the company.
Ensures robust development plans.
BUSINESS PARTNERING :
Referent for the Commercial and Marketing team, functional reports and their counterparts.
Plays a relevant role in the forecasting cycle for the channels team, supporting the creation and execution of excellent commercial plans
Deliver clear insights through key Channel review meetings to bring clarify on performance, forecasts deviation, risk & opportunities and recommendations on course correction to deliver targets
Manage the annual A&P budget to deliver the best Return on Investment for the business
Optimise growth and profitability for the brands through proactive cost control
Ensure effective revenue management and ensure the JSOX revenue controls are fully implemented across the Finance Business partners and Commercial teams
Provide support, guidance and appropriate metrics for longer term risk planning
Supporting the development of the channel strategies and business partnering through to execution
Improve business decision making through strategic review of full end-to-end P&L profitability covering distribution, depreciation and headcount
Build strong relationships with the RGM team and support the delivery of the RGM roadmap
Be the finance lead for the regular forecast meetings and hold key senior commercial stakeholders to account to improve forecast accuracy
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and identify ways to simply, automate and standardise processes across the team
Lead the month end close (Revenue) including the approval of trade spend journals, coordination and communication of the landing, animation of performance with clear insights, and presentation of the month end performance deck to the Finance Leadership team
Manage direct reports and provide leadership, coaching and development to deliver outstanding business partners and provide future talent
Initiate, lead, and manage projects which will improve current business processes and deliver against strategy
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Financial acumen - qualified accountant with a proven track record
Expertise in working within cross-functional team & projects
Expertise in FMCG commercial business partnering finance support
Expertise in International Accounting Standards for revenue reporting / treatment
People management experience is preferred
Expertise is SAP
Spanish & English fluent.
