The mission of the EHS Technician to manage all EHS risk avoidance activities. Has to advise the plant management to achieve compliance with both legal directives and the own company in matters of environment, Safety, and Health Labour to eliminate the risk accidents and sanctions and achieve and maintain the required certifications.
MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES :
To lead the risk assessment activities through all the jobs in the Plant.
Administer all duties related to clothing and EPI's.
To manage all coordination activities on EHS between Lear and the external suppliers.
To lead all training activities of the EE's in the topic.
Ensure that all Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
To have all emergency procedures and test on place.
To report all EHS KPI's on time.
Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented. Liaise with external health & safety consultants in the provision of training programmes and health and safety services.
Working with EE's & management to implement the company's policies and goals, Specially 7KE, 5s Walks, audits etc.
Ensure EHS compliance with ISO / TS 18000 requirements.
Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
Ensuring all EE's operate according to the best standards of EHS goals.
Managing and ensuring 1st class service levels are provided to all customers.
Ensure documentation and procedures are maintained and improved upon to enable smooth operations, sustain a knowledge base, self-
reliance and an accruable history database.
To train all Staff members in EHS topics and culture.
To lead social projects to cooperate with the Community where Lear operates.
Engineering ,Law, Psychology, Labour Relations.
3 years work experience in EHS environment.
Ability to build and manage teams capable to reach the Plant targets.
