Primary purpose

To provide a single point of contact for IFF’s customers to support business development on documentation issues, pricing, sampling, and other requirements.

Manages the liaison on all issues relating to existing and new flavor business.

Customer’s Projects / Opportunities

  • Provide a full support service to the Account Manager in all matters relating to the service of the account. That includes : Prepare Presentations, Coordinating customer visits / workshops, preparing offers / quotes / pricing.
  • Together with the Account Manager, be responsible for the receipt of opportunities and projects into IFF and their accurate and detailed entry into IFFMan ensuring that all required information is first time right .
  • To liaise with Creation, Application and other departments monitoring the project progress to ensure that the Account Manager and customer are kept fully up to date with all appropriate information necessary to ensure timely and winning submissions.
  • Maintain accurate and complete product / customer submission and pricing records.
  • Coordinate and fulfill customer’s requirements of legal documentation, quality questionaires, etc. with several internal IFF departments
  • Coordination and follow-up complaints
  • Business support :

  • Good knowledge of IFF reporting systems to support forecast preparation, business analysis and many business reports.
  • Orders / Existing Business

  • As back up of Customer Service in Spain : Register customer orders into IFF’s systems, acknowledge and confirm orders (if requested date can’t be met) back to customer to ensure all required data enter the system as quickly as possible.
  • Maintain all master data relating to customers which has been validated
  • Maintain all quotes and pricing information, ensuring that the systems are accurate and reliable.
  • To be accountable for all communication relating to order changes - either customer initiated or IFF initiated to ensure that all concerned parties are aware of the changes and agree the new targets.
  • To track the order fulfillment progress (liaising with the operations team) and proactively communicate exceptions to customer and management.
  • To coordinate all communications between the Customer and IFF departments ensuring timely delivery of all documents relating to legal and quality issues and specifications.
  • To respond to order-related customer inquiries and complaints ensuring that the customer is always given the information they require when they need it.

    Required Skills

  • Degree : Bachelor.
  • Languages : Spanish and English proficiency (at least C1 level).Additional language skills will be valued.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP.
  • Excellent Computer Skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Required Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service related position.
  • Experience in a multinational environment.
  • Experience in a Flavors Company will be valued.
  • Used to work in teams and with very tight deadlines.
