1. Technical & Scientific Expertise
Provide support on transformers business regarding developments from software, simulation and experimental points of view interpreting the results.
Compile and assimilate data from various sources, conduct relatively routine operations and tests.
2. R&D context and Innovation
Understands R&D context within transformers and propose innovative ideas for future product development.
3. R&D Projects, processes and tools
Leadership of projects or subprojects; control of execution, deadlines and cost and timely and accurate reporting.
4.Communication and technical documentation
Present and communicate project results to other members of the team and / or technology management and customers. Participate on internal and external technical papers.
Prepares the technical documents related to the projects.
5. Intellectual property management
Keep the internal developments properly protected and assists in defence and enforcement activities of related technology.
University degree in engineering, appreciated Ph.D.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in engineering or R&D projects. Experience on dry-type transformers is highly appreciated.
Highly valuable any proved contribution to transformer industry by technical papers and / or patents.
Fluent English level and Spanish is appreciated but not compulsory.
Understand numerical methods as applied to multi-physics problems, including problems modelling and optimization methods.
This would include simulations mainly dielectric and electromagnetic cases, being also valuable the thermal and mechanical ones.
Knowledge of object oriented software (preferably in .NET).
Availability to collaborate on international R&D projects within transformers organization.
