For this purpose, we have Sustainability professionals working for Vestas in the areas of Safety, Environment and Quality.
We are looking for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Professional, to be part of the team, working together to achieve our global targets, working locally, thinking globally and with a high autonomy in his / her daily tasks.
Will be focused in our main internal customers (Service & Construction Departments), being for them a close partner, advisor, trainer and inspector.
The HSE Professional will be reporting to HSE Manager of the cluster Iberia. Responsibilities
Field activities in offices, warehouses and Service sites (60%)
Creation of local HSE documents (risk assessments, HSE plans, emergency response plans, customer specific procedures, etc).
Follow up of contractors / subcontractors including mobilization / demobilization, post-work assessment and audits when needed
Perform HSE training (initial & refresh training : LOTO, Electrical Safety, etc.).
Responsible for providing expertise and support to Operations in incident and hazardous observation investigation and root cause analysis
Perform site visits and inspections
Actively, support the development and realization of a "Zero Incident Culture".
Responsible to provide support and collaboration on HSE matters related to the country
Participation in tender processes (preparation of HSE documentation) and contract review from Environmental, Health & Safety perspective
Assist with various tasks contributing to staff organization
Perform and follow up internal audits at local and regional Vestas level.
Develop and support implementation of processes and procedures, including hearing processes
3-5 years of work experience within HSE. Experience in an international work environment would be an added value.
Master degree in HSE (Técnico en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, 3 technical specialisation)
Mother tongue in Spanish and high proficiency level of English
IRCA Lead auditor in ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 would be an added value
In-depth knowledge of HSE standards and best practices, quality ISO standards, concepts, processes and procedures
Expertise in hazard jobsite assessment / analysis / solution, risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis
Development / implementation of processes and procedures, including comprehensive HSE Plans
Conducting inspections and audits
