Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has a Commercial team in Madrid, The covering Spain and Portuguese markets. The commercial team consists of a Commercial Director and two Relationship Managers.

The objective of this team is to continue developing the sales activity focus on local players and maintaining an excellent service quality for our non-

resident clients. As part of our sales strategy, our goal is to extend our services to be able to offer Trustee services to local fund managers and extends our presence in those countries increasingly market share, NBI and consolidate our local presence in Spain We offer : -

The VIE would have the following tasks :

  • Perform a detailed Product Market Analysis of the region / product
  • oReview, analyse and document the Broker Dealer Market in the region

    oReview, analyse and document the Wealth Management Market in the region

    o Review, complete and maintain the list of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Asset Management in the Region and their custody providers

  • Perform a detailed Product Market Analysis of
  • oTrustee functions focus on asset management entities

    oAnalysis of the UCITS V and AIFMD directives and how they will affect to our target clients.

  • Support a detailed Product Gap Analysis based in the Market insights acquired and the existing product capabilities within SGSS
  • oFor the Broker Dealer Segment and the Asset Management Segment

  • Support SGSS Global Sales Facilitation teams in contributing locally to transversal processes : Sales Plan, mid-year Review, Prospecting Universe definition, deals and meetings follow-up, etc.
  • The VIE assignment in a nutshell

    This VIE in Madrid is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application 12 renewable months.

    The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

    You are :

  • graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required
  • Experienced in Securities servicing or business analyst in a financial environment (banking industry)
  • Evolution

    The candidate will be part of a small team and will need to have a team and flexible spirit.
