Ensure reception, storage, preparation and expedition of materials to / from storage and control and coordinate the daily work of Warehouse workers, being responsible for physical condition of the warehouse and equipment and guaranteeing that warehouse operations run efficiently.
Coordinate and manage the workload within the team, assuring all warehouse activities and operations according Gamesa's quality standards, minimize over timing and optimizing budget.
Ensure SAP Warehouse Management System to maintain inventory integrity and quality.
Ensure outbound shipments meet all of Gamesa’s quality standards for material integrity and packaging.
Responsible for the inventory management, including annual inventories and cycle count program.
Control the detection of missing raw material, goods, spare parts or consumables, monitoring claims of material shortages.
Enforce safety regulations, ensuring all technical, health, safety, quality and environmental requirements are followed.
Directs and coordinates the flow of materials.
Responsible for continuous improvement, housekeeping, 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) and lean warehouse principles as well as the efficient flow of material into and out of the facility.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures across all processes, including quality systems.
Report on Key Performance Indicators on a weekly / monthly basis and resolve / mitigate internal failures by implementing permanent corrective actions and procedures.
Reconcile physical inventory to SAP inventory and make necessary adjustments. Provide summary of inventory adjustments to management including dollar value, reason and corrective and preventative action.
Analyze inventory movements to properly identify warehouse storage strategies for efficiency improvements.
