Job Responsabilities

  • Coach teams and people, with different levels of expertise and different background, into an Agile context
  • Transform the Tribe into a high performance Tribe
  • Work with the leadership to understand the benefits of the Agile leadership approach
  • Collectively share responsibility in decisions and implementation of project objectives
  • Having simple and innovative solutions to overcome problems
  • Learn and Share both Functional and Technical knowledge
  • Responsibilities is shared among the Squad with Scrum Principles :

  • The Product Owner give the What
  • The rest of the team is in charge of the How
  • In the End the whole Squad is responsible of the deliverable in Production.

    As all Retail Delivery members, the Agile Coach will work closely with Squads in that context of delegation, but will also define the frame of freedom for the Squads.

    Knowledge and skills

  • Software engineering degree or equivalent
  • Good understanding on all Architecture Layers
  • Past Technical experience
  • Good understanding on eXtreme Programming best practices
  • Minimum 3 years of experience coaching and training teams in agile, specially Scrum
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as enterprise agile coach : running an Agile Transformation from the strategy to the implementation, using Scaled Agile frameworks like LeSS or SAFe
  • Soft skills

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to add value on all layers : specially at management layer, but always keep in mind the rest of the layers (human resource, technical, ...)
  • Deep emotional intelligence
  • Retail Bank knowledge (Desirable)
  • Participation with the Spanish Agile Community (Desirable)
