Ding is an exciting, award winning Technology Company headquartered in Dublin with offices around the globe. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our B2B team, based in our Barcelona office.

Reporting to the Head of B2B Europe & Africa, you’ll be responsible for bringing new business into Europe and driving revenue growth and profitability across our extensive network of distribution partners, whilst also managing relationships with our existing partners in the region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated Business Development professional with experience, to be part of a successful, fast growing international telecommunications company.

Day to Day Tasks

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
  • Managing all aspects of business development across your territory (French speaking African markets)
  • Cold call as appropriate within your territory to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities, managing the entire process from introduction to go live
  • Develop client proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives
  • Manage existing territory relationships
  • Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning
  • Ensure all partners can transact to their full potential by identifying and resolving any operational constraints
  • Identify and pursue revenue growth opportunities with each partner
  • Work closely with our Marketing team on sales campaigns, promotions and initiatives
  • Analyze and present both weekly and monthly analytics reports
  • Ensure account retention, contractual health, well-being and maximum satisfaction of partners
  • Key Attributes

  • You have a minimum of 5 years B2B business development, account management and / or client relations experience (prior technology, long distance, money remittance, mobile money, telecoms or wireless experience is a distinct advantage)
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration
  • Proven successful record in achieving sales targets
  • Fluent in English and French (knowledge of additional European languages would be an advantage)
  • Start-up or high-growth company experience preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast paced, competitive environment
  • You can work under pressure and know how to prioritize your workload
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Well organized with excellent knowledge of Microsoft office applications
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
