Role Summary :
The Supplier Performance Specialist is responsible for improving the quality, delivery & capacity of the supply chain utilising various techniques including Lean and Six Sigma.
will work directly with a wide range of external vendors to identify, assess and develop, capabilities, processes and procedures, ensuring rate readiness for selected programmes through capacity reviews and development plans and lead deep dive problem solving and recovery plans to address Supplier performance issues.
Essential Responsibilities :
The Supplier Performance Specialist will develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet supplier improvement goals.
In this role, you will be responsible for utilising your understanding and experience to drive short-term and long-term business goals to achieve business objectives and :
Qualifications / Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or relevant prior experience
Experience in a supply chain development, continuous improvement or sourcing role
Experience of supplier / contract management
Knowledge manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, and standard cost systems
Knowledge of production and inventory management
Willing to travel to UK on infrequent occasions
Able to read, write and speak fluent Spanish and English - This role must be able to hold technical and business conversation at different levels with third party organisations
If contracted in Spain :
Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country : NIE-
Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring.
