The Senior Service and Interaction Designer leads interactiondesign and service design activities on projects, including client workshops,creative brainstorms, interaction design, and service design definition.

Create products that demonstrateoutstanding service and interaction design for our clients and their customers.

Drive the development of thediscipline and practice in our studios.

Lead, lean in, be creative, andhave fun.

As a Senior Service & InteractionDesigner, you :

Uncover user needs throughresearch, develop deep insights, generate concepts, and craft how people willinteract with the products and services we design.

Lead Service& Interaction Design activities on projects, including clientworkshops, creative brainstorms, and interaction and service designdefinitions.

Explain, discuss, and justify design decisionseloquently. Give effective feedback and direction to more junior members of theteam.

Manage all Service & Interaction Designactivities at the project level.

Own all Service & Interaction Design deliverables.Evaluate output of other interaction and service designers to ensure quality ofdesign work.

Frame and tell the story of design solutions.Present the communication of research findings, conceptual ideas, detaileddesign, and design rationale both verbally and visually.

Be a Fjord ambassador, attending and helping to planstudio and community events, workshops, and conferences.

  • Set yourself apart :

  • Abilityto learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe CreativeSuite, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, or JIRA is a plus.
  • Extensiveknowledge of and experience with driving and applying user-centered designprocesses. Accustomed to working collaboratively with customers andcross-
  • functional team members.

  • Understandingof areas of specialization within the greater design landscape, including butnot limited to Design Research, Visual Design, and Content Design;
  • willingnessto broaden your own skillset into adjacent specializations while refiningmastery of primary skillset.

  • Proficientin creating experience maps, user journeys and service blueprints, interactionmodels, flows, and wireframes.
  • Proficientwith rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digitalprototypes.
  • Your experience :

  • 5-7years of in-depth knowledge and experience of Interaction Design and ServiceDesign across varied users, business problems, and devices.
  • Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent experience in a related field.
