Field Service Engineer (Madrid area)
Our new colleague will be responsible for delivering high quality technical services and support to our customers ensuring that all issues are dealt in the most effective and satisfactory way.
This is an excellent opportunity to increase your knowledge and gain experience in the mechanics, electronics and automation field by performing services on our clients’ sites.
Your Main Responsibilities will be :
Manage installations of processing equipment - prepare customer site, set up the machine and provide support during the commissioning
Execute the planned preventive maintenance activities to a high standard and in line with agreed procedures
Ensure effective and reliable operation of Tetra Pak line equipment, reinstate the equipment into the production environment
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical malfunctions and breakdowns
Reduce customers’ operational cost, ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing high quality services
Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers including support and follow-up on customers’ concerns and problems
Maintain accurate service reporting
Reporting facts & Figures / escalate through the software tools Tetra Pak provides.
Work in accordance with all safety regulations and requirements. Understand the importance of product quality and ensure a safe working culture in the team
We expect you have :
Bachelor’s degree or similar in mechanical and electrical or automation engineering
High level of English and Spanish language knowledge in written and verbally. Portuguese is an asset
1 years of practical experience in similar duties with good hands-on skills
Genuine interest in techniques and customer service with focus on quality
Willingness to travel. About 90% of working time is required on customer sites (mainly in Spain, Portugal, Angola and occasionally abroad these areas)
Writing / reporting skills
Programming skills on Siemens Step7 are required
Programming skills on TIA Portal, RsLogix 500 and HMI knowledge would be valued
Food processing technology knowledge will be valued
