JUKE is a digital Music Service that combines the strengths of both radio and on-demand and makes these worlds complimentary to each other in one service.

JUKE offers linear radio for its users, combined with 50+ million tracks and on-demand playlists in one hybrid model and bridges the gap between linear and on-

demand. We not only provide radio groups with a digital distribution model and data but also add direct functionality, content and value to the radio experience.

With this approach we offer our users the most relevant music service in one place and are able to service both the laid-

back-listener and the pro-active-streamer.

We launched JUKE in the Netherlands last year and recently launched in Germany and Spain will be our next big launch. In the Netherlands JUKE is in a partnership with Talpa Radio.

Talpa Radio (part of Talpa Network) is owner of the 4 largest radio stations in the Netherlands with a market share of more than 32% and 7 million listeners weekly (with a population of 17 million).

Talpa is a format and media company, internationally renowned for formats like Big Brother and The Voice. Even if the partnership is limited to the Netherlands, it underlines the potential of JUKE.

We are looking for a platform operations manager to join the JUKE team in Barcelona. As a member of the product experience team, you will enable product innovation, ensure the compliance of IT services and support the European markets with competitive central solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate and assure successful execution of Air Frame platform strategy in time, budget and meeting platform and business unit goals.
  • Implementation of the DFS-Hosting / Operations Strategy according to target roadmap
  • Provide integration management services for existing IT solutions and components like WebService, Database and Middleware
  • Work and communicate effectively with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Finance and Legal to garner approval, build consensus and meet projected deadlines

  • Experience cooperation : You will work in close collaboration with the Customer Lead Organization, Central Support Managers and Application Infrastructure Consultants.
  • Measuring and reporting the platform performance against targets
  • You will understand the business requirements of the customer, regarding service level requirements and know the appropriate importance of respective IT landscape.
  • You will consult the business entity to identify problems according the running IT setup and implement countermeasures.
  • You will act as care taker (escalation manager) for all IT issues arising for all services and be single point of contact to the business for service provisioning.
  • Your qualifications

  • You have at least 5 years of experience with product management (preferred : experience with consumer products).
  • Personality : communicative and team player
  • Working practice : proactively and target oriented
  • Experience : several years of relevant professional experience through all levels of IT services (application, infrastructure, digital) according ITIL foundation
  • Knowledge : comprehension of performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs, OLAs), business needs, digital and business setup to provide best IT service quality as well as for IT ecosystems end to end in line with business requirements and technical capabilities
  • Enthusiasm : enjoy working in a global and highly motivated team
  • Languages : very good German and English skills both written and spoken
  • Education : completed degree with a focus in information technology (Computer Science etc.) or similar qualification
  • Solid experience in IT-Operations (e. g. datacenter, network, OS, database or security)
  • Solid technical understanding of relevant technologies
  • More than three years of job experience
  • Project Management skills
  • Experience with Cloud services will be a benefit
