As a key member of the EMEA DX organisation, you will work with the latest and rapidly evolving digital technologies on Oracle Cloud.

As a recognised authority and senior contributor within Oracle Consulting, you will provide market leading innovative end to end solutions, designs and thought leadership to regional project teams across EMEA.

As an Experience Design Lead, you will elicit and articulate customer innovation and design requirements. You will design and develop lo-

and high-fidelity prototypes and guide stakeholders in solution development and selection. You will advocate agile methodologies and ensure alignment to user experience principals and best practices.

You will guide, coach and support designers and developers in best practice agile solution delivery. You will implement a continuous improvement approach with Oracle teams and customers.

    Requirements, Skills and Qualifications :

  • 7-10 years of industry experience (agency and / or client-side) in User Experience Design / Interaction Design with a consistent record of success.
  • At least 3 years working knowledge and experience with Cloud Solutions. SaaS (e.g. Oracle Fusion, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Anaplan, ServiceNow, Infor, Ultimate Software, or similar companies) and PaaS (Oracle Cloud, AWS, MSFT Azure, Google Cloud, Force.com, etc).
  • You have several years’ experience with Cloud solution design, experience strategy, development and delivery, functional and / or technical consulting, business consulting.
  • Prior team leadership or management experience is preferred.

  • You have extensive experience and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end experience architecture (from research to journey mapping, design systems, iterative design cycles, prototyping, user testing and delivery).
  • You will also need to showcase your innate ability to innovate and disrupt the status quo in the post-PC world.

  • You are familiar with SaaS solutions and how they can be extended with PaaS solutions to deliver innovation and business value.
  • You understand the capabilities and limits of technology solutions to deliver the most appropriate user experience and can manage customer expectations, keeping them focused on effective, yet feasible and viable solutions.

  • You evangelize human-centric design principals and are able to articulate fundamental concepts and value of design, agile development and UX / UI methodologies to uninitiated audiences.
  • You will possess a deep understanding in related creative tracks : visual design, development, copywriting and content strategy

  • You are comfortable engaging and have experience guiding stakeholders across multiple business domains including Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Sales, Marketing and Information Technology.
  • You feel at home working in multidisciplinary teams and are a native Agile advocate with an extensive experience in lean development, continuous delivery, DevOps, etc.
  • You are comfortable with design-in-code methodologies and practices.

  • Proficient in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and other tools and platforms associated with the industry.
  • Knowledge or good understanding of JavaScript, and / or NodeJS, and / or AngularJS, and / or React, etc and familiarity and / or knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) such as WebCenter Content is an advantage.
  • You have strong verbal and written communications skills. Preferably experience writing and publishing research briefs, white papers and blogs, vlogs, etc.
  • Ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in an energizing environment.
  • You have excellent language skills in both the local language and English.
  • Passionate attitude with willingness and enthusiasm to own your growth.
  • You are educated to an undergraduate degree or greater level. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • You have the ability and willingness to travel as much as 50% of the time within EMEA.

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team.

    Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

    Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen.

    Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-

    routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions.

    Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise.

    Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

    8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred.

    Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively.

    Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
