In Iberia Essity manufactures and sells consumer goods products under our well-known brands DEMAK-UP, COLHOGAR and TENA as well as private label tissue & personal care products.

We have 3 manufacturing sites in the Iberia region (Allo - Navarra, Telde - Gran Canaria, Valls - Tarragona), and 4 commercial offices (Madrid, Barcelona, Tarragona and Lisbon), with approx. 1200 employees

The Valls factory is located in the little town of Puigpelat, Tarragona with approx. 500 employees. We produce Professional Hygiene products, Tissue and Personal Care.

We are looking for our Global Services HR department :

This position will join our GBS HR team that will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide accurate information, ensuring the correct compensation in a timely manner and offering high quality on customer service.

Main Tasks

  • Review, analyze and check payroll forms and reports for accuracy and makes. necessary adjustments or corrections.
  • Research, analyze and solve payroll-related problems or questions.
  • Compile and analyze payroll data, develop financial and operational reporting as needed.
  • Understand proper taxation, also for expatriations.
  • Attend issues and questions from our employees and managers.
  • Prepare and assure the quality of labor contracts and individual agreements.
  • Provide input regarding needed changes, inefficiencies or other issues.
  • Key Competencies

  • Labor Relations, Law, Business Economics or related Degree.
  • 3-4 years’ experience processing payroll is a must.
  • Organizational skills for storing and processing information quickly and efficiently.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish labor and tax regulations.
  • Strong Office skills including proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.
  • Hight level of English.
