We are looking for a person with high level of problem solving skills, strong communication abilities and localization AM / production background to strategically manage relationships with large and medium size international accounts.
The AM will focus on the three pillars : account growth, account profitability, and client relationship growth.
Position responsibilities :
Respond to client requests for new project initiatives. The Account Manager collaborates with production teams to assess the scope of work and produce cost estimates for web, document / sometimes e-
learning projects. The AM assesses the competitive landscape, develops project proposal and agrees on the budget and schedule with the client.
Monitor and communicate project progress, ensure strict adherence to deadlines and budgets and ultimately produce high quality deliverables.
The AM needs to have clear communication with the client and the production team and set proper client expectations for project and have overall account health in mind.
Initiate all project related work by providing detailed budget, schedule and instructions to the project team and by doing risk assessment and anticipating and resolving any potential roadblocks to successful completion.
Support new business efforts by attending sales meetings, participating in sales calls, preparing RFPs and cost estimates and entertaining clients.
Take a proactive role in learning about clients’ industry, business needs and company culture, educating the project team, identifying new business opportunities and providing a high level of service.
Essential skills and experience required :
University degree and minimum 2 years of experience working within localization company as a PM, sales person, Account Manager Etc.
Superior written and spoken communication skills in English & Spanish, other languages such as French and / or Italian helpful
Experience working for travel and hospitality clients and understanding their needs would be very beneficial.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Project desirable but not required. Working knowledge of TM tools. Familiarity with various TMS tools, software localization platforms,
Working knowledge of e-learning localization processes would be a plus.
Experience leading client facing meetings, business reviews, presenting processes etc.
Willingness to travel to offsite client or client business meetings
