RESPONSABILITIES

Firstly, the Chief of Staff assists the Head of Production, making strategic plans to ensure all IT Platform activities are efficient and at their most productive, following the Global plans and governance.

He may advise on projects and is the main organizer and planner of the IT Platform initiatives, attending to the strategic details while staying attuned to the macro vision of major decisions.

The Chief of Staff works with and reports directly to the Head of Production, relaying messages and ideas from other senior executive leaders to improve the internal functions and processes of the Platform.

The responsibilities of the Chief of Staff are as follows :

  • Act as a main consultant to the Head of Production
  • Coordinate initiatives related to the Governance of the IT Platform
  • Help define and promote IT strategy and ensure its operational implementation regarding each IT domains.
  • Steer IT projects / program either directly or through projects leaders.
  • MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Act as a main consultant to the Head of Production
  • Act as an adviser to the Head of Production and senior management teams.
  • Assist the Head of Production in facilitating effective decision-making
  • Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives
  • Assist Head of Production with internal and external communication
  • Improve the communication plan on Production operations, our strategies, priorities, keynotes, townhalls.
  • Assist the Head of Production with ExCo and related committees, and deliver progress reports.
  • Support the Head of Production in the delivery and implementation of global / central initiatives
  • As required, preparation of Head of Production presentations
  • Coordinate Head of Production activities as necessary. Identify / escalate risks to Head of Production and propose potential solutions or mitigation for critical issues
  • Work with team leaders and present to senior Management
  • Creating & updating strategic dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators.
  • Meeting & Event Preparation, Managing the meeting cadence for the board of Managers and leadership teams, ensuring materials are sent in advance, time is well spent, and objectives are achieved.
  • Be a go between for staff, department leaders and Head of Production
  • Is the correspondent of the Chief of Staff of CIB Production head in Central
  • Help define and promote the strategy and ensure its operational implementation
  • Define the policy and objectives of their scope based on the entity’s strategic priorities
  • Adapt the entity’s general strategy concerning information systems in accordance with the Group-level IT Governance procedures and the Group’s conduct and compliance principles
  • Participate in compiling the needs expressed by the Business / clients to prepare the entity’s strategic plan and the related request portfolio
  • Propose innovative services or solutions
  • Have a comprehensive overview of the Global strategy
  • Ensure that each Domain of the Platform is respecting the global Transformation objectives.
  • Ensure a plan of Continuous improvement by the teams
  • Ensure that a training plan is defined by each domain in order to secure the evolution to the Digital Technologies.
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives and guide to completion.
  • Record the medium-term needs of the Clients & Global Domain heads
  • Propose a medium-term vision of their operations
  • Promote and explain the defined strategy to all those involved
  • Determine the action plan of the entities / clients with their management
  • Support the Transformation programs by adopting new practices regarding methodology, organizational and / or technical priorities.
  • Steer projects / programs directly or through cross-entity projects
  • Management of the Project Managers team, implied in Digital Transformations initiatives (Plan 2020), in a Wholesale environment.
  • Supervise and help oversee projects of high importance
  • Prioritize the projects to be carried out
  • Help to determine the amount of human and financial resources allocated to projects
  • Steer the monitoring of costs incurred
  • Implement IT Governance (delegate or actively participate in the governance of direct or cross-entity projects)
  • Work with cross-functional teams
  • Lead strategic and operational committees related to the projects
  • Communicate and ensure expected reporting on the project’s progress
