Main Position Goals :
Sells the product line in the responsible territory to public organism, industries, CRO
Manages all Sales activities for the related Products
Contributes to the overall Sales goals by achieving regional quarterly and annual targets
Collaborate with current team (Sales, Service, support)
Provide to management the financial (forecast, revenues recognition...) and technical information from the field
Responsible to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction / loyalty (CAS)
Develop synergies with colleagues from SID and other divisions
Main Activities / Responsibilities
Achieve national quarterly and annual sales plan for bookings and revenues
Maintain up to date SFDC by entering the information related to each sales opportunity, sales visits, quotations issued, etc
Timely execution of CPQ process in order to get all needed approvals of any quotation submitted
Timely execution of self-assessment and self-evaluation PMD’s processes
Manages sales activities of the country and ensures timely and high quality sales reporting like leads funnel, forecast, and inputs for QBR, QMI, SIOP and other internal processes
Provide appropriate technical solutions and quotations to prospective customers to lead to successful closure of sales.
Influences preparation and presents technical assistance, consultation and problem solving to customers as necessary
Organize and participate marketing activities, such as seminars, workshop or demo as needed to generate sales leads and qualify them.
Identify key areas of growth potential and strategies to capture both short and long-term growth.
Support agents / dealers capable of managing positive customer relations and exceeding revenue targets
Always ensure highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and escalate issues if necessary to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible.
Collaborate with other sales teams belonging to other divisions within Thermo to develop synergies
Follow our export policy
Work with the European application chemists to set-up customers demonstration
To work closely with Field service organization for optimizing the one face to the customer
Skills / Competencies
Successful Sales experience for the product line
Excellent accuracy reporting Sales activities
Ability to liaise with people at all levels in different countries (factories, sales operations, internal support functions)
Ability to lead meetings even in English
Ability to facilitate best practices workshops
Organized with ability to prioritize work load and business / private life balance
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Professional background in Elemental analysis
Sales skills is required
Excellent knowledge of CMD / Mass market in an user level preferably
Good Product Knowledge of the CMD (Chromatography and Mass Division) products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities
Multicultural management experience is advantageous
Excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills
Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
Evidence of professional presentation skills.
Availability to travel up to 50% of the working time mainly within his / her territory
Higher Education Degree (B.S., M.S., Ph.D.) from an accredited institution in Chemistry or related field required
