After Sales Manager Spain and Portugal


Attached to the Service & Solution Division, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Manitou Iberica and indirectly to the Area After Sales Manager Head Quarter.

According to the Service & Solution rules and objectives, the after sales manager will have to :

  • Manage the after sales team in Spain and Portugal
  • Manage the technical assistance of the dealer network and KA (Machines, Diagnostic tools etc...)
  • Manage the warranty (Warranty claims, Starts up, Modification campaign, etc...)
  • Manage Technical and service trainings (Skill of the dealer network)
  • Dealer and Key account visits (Dealer evaluation, support, development, end user visit, end user dispute, relations between Dealer & Key Accounts)
  • Analyze, synthesize and prioritize technical assistance request and inform Manitou HQ about technical problems
  • Promote Service offer (Warranty extensions, telematics, All in etc...)
  • Participate to events (Exhibitions, open days dealers, S&S days etc...)
  • Propose and suggest any improvement to make the organization "easier to deal with"
  • Profile

  • Customer orientated / mindset
  • High School degree. College or technical educational degree is a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience in an applicable product support field
  • Working knowledge of machine systems, such as engines, hydraulics, electronics or electrical, and mechanical
  • Solid knowledge of English (mandatory) and Portuguese (mandatory)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good leadership skills
  • High results and analytical orientation
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and teamwork skills
  • Responsible, dynamic and proactive
