Tareas y Misiones principales - Responsabilidades
Ensure technological surveillance and benchmark, develop concepts & technologies for innovative and economical manufacture of Airbus products and design jigs & tools.
A. To ensure the most efficient Tooling design, manufacturing and implementation for Airbus products.
¤ Develop & optimise Tooling Technical Specifications in accordance with processes and Planning Programs for composite production systems throughout
the complete life of a product and continuously applying the technology evolution to obtain process improvements.
¤ Participate in concurrent teams with engineering granting the manufacturability of the designs in Airbus production systems.
¤ Study and valuation of tenders, monitoring design and advice to suppliers.
¤ Adjustment of tools for setting up of processes.
¤ Technical support and Tooling Focal Point in the new technologies projects.
C. Main activities
¤ Define the required jigs and tools to cover the process needs, specify the requirements and support the CFT until the tooling is contracted
¤ Lead and coordinate the acceptance process for new tools, ensuring the compliance of the specify requirements
¤ Support the tooling set up to ensure the entry into service of the tooling in the required dates
¤ Analyze the performance of the tools and perform the necessary actions and changes to reduce the RC and achieve the RC targets
¤ Work in concurrence with all the functions of manufacturing engineering and design to optimize the manufacturing processes ensuring that all the
requirements have been captured
¤ Reports and technical Doc s related to manufacturing feasibility for new CFRP parts.
¤ Participation in the Manufacturing Process improvements.
¤ Continuous support to the Plant in the tooling set-up
